Who we are
AMRUT AYU ACADEMY (amrutayuacademy.in) is an Ayurveda and Panchakarma education institute in Pune, Maharashtra, India, run by Dr. Prashant Amrutkar and Dr. Amruta Amrutkar. It is part of the Amrut Ayu family, alongside the AMRUT AYU CARE™ clinics.
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry. Our inquiry form asks for your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), your background (for example, BAMS doctor or international student), the program you are interested in, your country, your preferred start month (optional), a subject, and a message.
When you browse the site. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information in server logs, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the time of your visit. We use this only to keep the site secure and working.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, health records, identity documents, or payment details through this website.
Why we use it
- To reply to your inquiry and recommend a suitable program
- To share fees, batch dates, and registration details you ask for
- To send the joining link for Samhita Vachana if you request it
- To keep the website secure
We do not sell your personal information. We do not add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask us to.
Where your information goes
- Email. Inquiry form submissions are delivered by email to our Gmail inbox, provided by Google. As a backup, our website also keeps a copy of each of these notification emails in its email log for 30 days, after which it is deleted automatically.
- Hosting. The website is hosted by Hostinger.
- Google Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers and shares your IP address with Google.
- Google Maps. Our Contact page shows an embedded Google Map. Google may set cookies and collect data when the map loads, under Google’s own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Because Google is a global company, some of this information may be processed outside India.
Cookies
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The embedded Google Map on the Contact page may set cookies controlled by Google. If we add analytics or other cookies in future, we will update this policy first.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails for as long as needed to answer you and manage your admission, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you enrol, in which case we keep the records needed to run your course and issue your certificate.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct or update it
- delete it, where we no longer need it
- stop using it, by withdrawing your consent
You can also raise a grievance about how we handle your data. To do any of this, write to us at amrutayucare@gmail.com or through our Contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
Our programs are designed for adult learners: doctors, students, and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through this website.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, for example when we add online course accounts or payments. The date at the top shows the latest version.
